Meet Mrs. Miller!
Hello! I'm Mrs. Miller! I'm truly excited to be your Fashion Merchandising teacher this year!
A little about me...
I'm a North Carolina native and have lived in Charlotte for the past 8 years.
I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business with a concentration in Management and Organizational Development.
I am an entrepreneur. I own a boutique wedding and event planning business in Charlotte. When I worked in Corporate America, I was the Marketing Campaign Coordinator for the 2nd largest credit union in NC. I am a wife (going on 13 yrs), mother (going on 9 yrs) and pet owner (going on 3 yrs)!
Back in the Day...
My favorite subjects in high school were English, Journalism, and Science. I either wanted to be forensic pathologist or write for National Geographic Magazine! Ha!
In high school, I worked at Food Lion as a cashier and when I was in college you could find me folding pants or shirts in the "Petites" section of Macy's and later behind the Clinique counter with my white smock on selling the "3-step system!"
My Fashion Profile...
My favorite fashion style is simple, comfortable and casual. A nice pair of sunglasses and comfortable shoes are a must! I also like unique accessories. I love simple colors like grey and black, but I'll throw in a pop of color too!
Where will you find me shopping? I'm a bargain hunter so I love thrift stores, and outlet malls are my friend. I love brands that fit me just right like Banana Republic, H&M, The Loft, Forever 21, Old Navy and Gap!
